Fan Choice Friday | Moon Through Branches | DIY Nail Art Tutorial

Today I’ll be showing you how to do this Moon Through Branches silhouette mani. Products used are linked below.

►Nail polish and products used◄
-Unt -Ready for Takeoff Peelable Base Coat:
-Zoya – Paz:
-Zoya – Livingston –
-Zoya – Pinta:
-Zoya – Willa:
-Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat:
-Apple Barrel Gloss Acrylic Paint – White:
-Apple Barrel Gloss Acrylic Paint – Real Yellow:
-Apple Barrel Gloss Acrylic Paint – Black:
-Makeup Sponge:
-Nail Art Striper Brush:
-Royal SG250 Brush size 4:
-(Optional) Simply Peel: or Liquid Latex: or Tape:
-(Optional) Tweezers:
-Cleanup brush:
-Clean up with acetone:

-Start out with clean, dry nails and apply your base coat
-(Optional)Prep around your nails with Simply Peel or your favorite barrier
-Apply your sunset colors to a makeup sponge and apply enough coats so that it’s opaque – remove the latex after the final layer
-Clean up around the edges with a small brush & polish remover
-Mix white acrylic paint with just a touch of yellow to create an off-white, then mix with water
-Using a medium sized brush, apply a moon shape to your nails, wait a few seconds and dab away the extra water, leaving a residue of acrylic paint – repeat several layers until you have a textured, cratered moon
-Using a striping brush and black acrylic paint, draw branches on all your nails
-Finish with top coat!
