Ruth Pulley says:

You sounded a little emotional…are you okay?

megdalena01 says:

this look immediately made me think of Kelly Bundy from Married… with Children.

waymire01 says:

I turned 20 in ’94.. you did a great job.

Andy Mae says:

Love this look!! This is how I remember 90s makeup!

Julie Cowe says:

I still do a lot of this with my make-up! I remember the colours being lots of rusty browns and brick reds. Gosh just look at 90210 posters. I’m still trying to find a rich brown-red lippy like I had in ’95 (Gotta Date by Bonne Bell, it was perfect and they discontinued it, I was sad) but your talk about blush made me remember there was an earthenware blusher/bronzer that came in wee terracotta pots with a cork on top and you were to just use a wee bit from the cork on a brush to put a glow all over the face. I wonder if they still make that stuff.

neaface says:

Go to a reputable piercer and look for a nose nail from Industrial Strength. It won’t bend and it won’t fall out easily either. A piercer can custom bend the ring part to keep it looking 100.

rinoawannabe says:

Go to Body Manipulations in the mission in sf! i bet they’d be able to help you out 🙂

Lori Stone says:

In the 90s I wore either brown on gray eyeliner and my maybelline great lash in the pink tube. I hardly ever wore eyeshadow but I had a couple of different covergirl blushes, iced cappuccino and soft sable, that I rotated and my favorite lippie was covergirl french toast. I was all about me some brown lips. For foundation I either wore covergirl clean for acne prone skin or the maybelline shine free. Maybelline and Covergirl were my go to staples in the 90s.

Liz Baylor says:

love the color of the lip stick

HipsterPandaDanda says:

bodycandy.com is a really good website for nose rings. Actually, jewelry period. What you want in any kind of nose jewelry is something made of titanium, since titanium is found in your body. Body Candy has really sturdy nose rings at really good prices, and you can pick the size.

frozensky86 says:

if you’re looking for a nose ring that doesn’t get bent out of shape then try titatium, it’s a stronger material. also look up nostril nails, they give the look of a ring but has a flat part that sits against the inside of your nostril and then a gap so no bending, segment rings are great too but quite fiddly.

anon person says:

This really stands out among other 90s tutorials. Much more authentic imo! Your look reminds me of Liv Tyler : )

Also, I always think of unisex fragrances like CK One for this era.

Telena Eldridge says:

This is a gorgeous look that I would absolutely wear right now! Thank you.

TheRandomgirlstuff says:

I go to freshtrends.com for my small nose rings. they are cheap, good quality and have a pretty good selection.

patsy t says:

in the 90s, i wore (and still sometimes wear, since studs don’t tend to work for me) small silver earrings of the sort you can find at hot topic as noserings. sometimes i had to use tweezers to close them.

divasinger 5 says:

OMG! That spooly! What is it and where did you get such a giant spooly?

thewooflingdiva says:

FINALLY! someone who got it right!

Greasy Kitten says:

aqua net, ,,permed bangs and frost eveything✊✔

muselylove says:

In the 90s those Champagne shimmery lipstick was such a thing. It was my Mom’s go to. I would put that same shade as a 5 year old back then and sing one of Debbie Gibson songs while holding a hair brush in front of a full length mirror XD

Jessica Buckley says:

I need those sunglasses!

Tina Ganguly says:

I bought mine at Vans when I visited the US. thin nose ring. Also it’s 2016 and I am still wearing 90s makeup, WTF?lol. Including black/brown liner. Love from Hong Kong
